Members are encouraged to bring short pieces of written prose or poetry to read to the group. Helpful comments and constructive criticism are encouraged.  The format of our meetings usually consists of readings which we restrict to roughly, no more than 1,000 words in order to allow time for everyone to read and critique each other’s work.   Occasionally we have a workshop on some aspect of writing or a visiting speaker.
